INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS

Submission of articles

All correspondence, including the submission of articles and the requests for revisions, will be done through the e-mail address of editor in chief.

Preparation of articles

Journal Bulletin of Mines has no restrictions on the length of the articles, but articles should not be shorter than 5 pages. Articles should be written in Serbian (Cyrillic) and English, with the following structure: title, authors, affiliations, e-mail of corresponding author, ORCID number of all authors (if they have), abstract, key words, main text, acknowledgements (option), references. In main text use no numbered headings for the following sections: introduction, experimental, results, discussion and conclusions. Numbering is also omitted for the acknowledgment and references. Spacing before headings 18 pt and after headings 12 pt.

The articles should be prepared on the standard A4 format (210×297 mm). All the margins should be set at 25 mm (top, bottom, left and right).

Text of the article should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt, justified, single line spacing. Spacing before and after paragraphs 6 pt. The Abstract should not exceed 200 words. A maximum of five key words should be indicated below the abstract to describe the content of the article.

All tables and figures should have an appropriate title and be numbered in the order of appearance in the text, with mandatory reference to them in the text. Table numbers and titles are always above the tables. The numbering and titles of the pictures are always below the pictures. If the figures is not the original contribution of the author, it is mandatory to cite the source (if the figures has already been published), or the author from whom it was taken (if the figures has not yet been published).

References to literature in the text of the article must be cited in the order of their appearance in the text, listed in square brackets, for example [1, 3]. References to literature are mandatory in the text of the article. References are not translated into the language of the paper. Titles of cited domestic journals are given in the original, full or abbreviated form, but never in translated form.

References list should be prepared for different types of references, as follows:

Authors are asked to disclose that the submitted article is original work or extended conference paper.

If it is extended conference paper, authors should be provide summary explaining the improvements made in the journal version. The article should be expanded to the size of a research article with at least 30 % of new data. Тhe conference paper should be cited and noted on the first page of the submitted article. Аuthors are requested to attach to the submitted articles their relevant, previously published paper.

Notification

Journal Bulletin of Mines is published as a double-issue, once a year. Аrticles will be published in Serbian and English, publication is free of charge.

The journal Bulletin of Mines is officially in category M54 on the list: CATEGORIZATION OF DOMESTIC SCIENTIFIC JOURNALS FOR ENERGY, MINING AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY, of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.

Submitted articles will be reviewed by reviewers who are experts in the given area of research. Authors will be notified of the acceptance of the article by the editor.

A article that has already been published in one journal cannot be published in journal Bulletin of Mines.

The papers in the Mining Bulletin will be printed in their original form, and the authors are responsible for the data presented in the papers.

By submitting a manuscript the authors agree to abide by the Editorial Policies of Bulletin of Mines.
